Event Description
The Tan and See Piano Duo will perform. This recital is in celebration of Mr. John Zeigler's 101st birthday. Mr. Zeigler is a staunch supporter of the School of the Arts at the College of Charleston. The program will include the 3rd movement of J.S. Bach's Concerto for Two Keyboards in C minor, Mozart's Sonata in C for Four Hands, K. 521, the first of Guastavino's Three Argentinian Romances, Ravel's La Valse, and also a work we wrote celebrating our heritage - a medley of Folk Tunes from Malaysia and Singapore. Amy Tan and Chee-Hang See are graduates of the College's music department and are continuing their studies in the department's Artist Certificate program with Professor Enrique Graf.
