Event Description
Under Madeline Hershenson’s loving and skillful leadership, the Society continues to reach new heights with performances at Marion Square and at KKBE in another Piccolo Spoleto concert. Now in its twelfth year, the Jewish Choral Society keeps growing and has become a community of singers and friends. The repertoire now includes Sephardic music, cantorial chants, contemporary Israeli music, Israeli folk songs, traditional songs from Eastern Europe, and Yiddish and Ladino music. New singers are welcome. No experience necessary. Of course, rehearsals include refreshments. |
