"The Legacy of Matthew Shepard"

Event Description
In 1998, Judy Shepard lost her son, Matthew, to a murder motivated by anti-gay hate. Speaking from a mother's perspective, she has made the prevention of hate crimes the focus of her efforts. She will share her thoughts on what we can do as individuals and communities to make this world a more accepting place for everyone, regardless of their race, religion, ethnicity, gender identity and/or expression.
